Trump Organization Denies Involvement in ’$TRUMP Wallet’ Crypto Project
The Trump Organization has distanced itself from a cryptocurrency wallet project branded as the ’$TRUMP Wallet,’ despite the app’s claims and ties to the former U.S. president. A spokesperson confirmed the group "knows nothing" about the initiative, which promises digital asset trading but lacks technical details or a launch timeline.
Magic Eden, a crypto marketplace linked to the project, had previously acknowledged its involvement through a post by CEO Jack Lu. The wallet’s website also mentions collaboration with GetTrumpMemes.com, the platform behind Trump-themed meme coins. Donald Trump Jr. reiterated the organization’s lack of involvement but hinted at an upcoming wallet from World Liberty Financial, a stablecoin venture tied to the family.
Donald TRUMP has increasingly embraced crypto since reentering politics, with past ventures including meme tokens like Trump Coin and Melania Coin. The ’$TRUMP Wallet’ appears to capitalize on this trend, though its legitimacy remains unverified.
